Actually the trick is that you don't slash big rig tires. Watch his right arm/hand throughout the video...or rather, lack of hand and amount of blood right after the explosion.
There's a right way and a wrong way to do just about anything, and vandalism to a vehicle consists of much more than the mere slashing of tires. My point is that practically any damage done to a big rig is big time expensive to fix, and since these freedumb protesters aren't using their rigs for work purposes while in Ottawa any damage claims they report to their insurance companies will be laughed out of the room. Vandalize those trucks enough and you can put these idiots out of work for the foreseeable.

I get it, but the correct response to LGM's post was "Wow, I didn't realize truck tires held that kind of pressure. Admittedly I haven't slashed alot of truck tires lol". Not doubling down.

I was thinking shooting out the tires from the safety of one's dwelling. No need to get within an arm's length of an unvaccinated trucker who just got out of a communal hot tub.

Alright I'm not trying to be a dick here but no you weren't.

The trick is to be smarter than a freedom convoy member when you decide where to stand relative to where you insert the knife.

I was referring to the video that was posted where the guy tried to use a knife. That wouldn't be my jam. Using a knife requires you to get right up close and if confronted that knife could end up anywhere, and a lot of the potential locations are not good. A well-aimed shot from a safe distance in the wee hours when no one is around gets the job done cleanly.

who was the guy who was saying how much he enjoys this guy's postings?

what a jerk.
I'm not the jerk parking my truck on a residential street and disturbing the peace for 3 weeks and counting.

Sooner or later these assholes need to pay a price. If the cops won't do it, the people being driven to distraction by these protesters will. They aren't just going to sit and take it indefinitely. This is what the leadership directing the cops to sit on their hands don't seem to get. Nature abhors a vacuum. If the cops won't do their job, eventually someone is going to do it for them.

IF a big truck parked in front of his house and IF it honked its horn all night and IF WeHave decided to vandalize it, he 100% would have walked up to it and tried to pop the tire with a steak knife.
I'm not a trucker but I know a bit about tires and air pressure. Enough to know that stabbing a fully inflated big rig tire is a bad idea. I've seen those tires blow on the 401 and there's no way I would want to be standing anywhere near one when it went.

I also make it a point not to stand behind jet engines when they are running or near propeller blades.

Should we be giving a bit of credit to the way the Feds and Provinces have handled the whole situation? I keep thinking if this happened in other places, there would be a few deaths and burnt buildings right now. 🤷‍♂️

Were there any deaths in Paris when the French police tear gassed and clubbed a bunch of trucker wannabe's the other day or did idiots just get tear gassed and clubbed?

It would probably be a good idea to designate the Capital Region as its own separate thing, ala D.C. or the Australian Capital Territory. Policing should be handled by a special division of the RCMP, who have the resources to properly train and plan for this type of thing.

A local municipal police service funded by the citizens of Ottawa just isn't going to cut it going forward as these types of things become more common.
