I feel like a politician's complete lack of shame or self-awareness are both their best assets and then eventually their undoing. Expect JT to continue the trend
I will be shocked if JT quits, short of any obvious or compelling scandal. But I hope I'm wrong...It's a good bet...but I wouldn't be shocked if he quits.
I would have been shocked if Harper quit.
And let the healthcare sell off begin.
Vote in the clowns, get the circus.Yep.
Plain as day for a long time that this was the plan.

You answered your own questionI have no idea why privatizing heath care is such a priority of the right wing , i don't understand how anyone could get pleasure from denying heath care so they can watch someone suffer .
it is so Doug's buddies can profit off it. that's all.I have no idea why privatizing heath care is such a priority of the right wing , i don't understand how anyone could get pleasure from denying heath care so they can watch someone suffer .
of course it is and Dougie and a handful of others in his party will also line their pockets but the majority of the nobody MP's won't but will ousted next election so i don\t see why they'd back this regardless of any repercussions they may face by coming out against privatizationit is so Doug's buddies can profit off it. that's all.

I don't disagree with anything you posted really, but I don't think the political leanings of wealthy people factors much in their belief that they are better than poor people and should get the better treatment in all aspects of life than everyone else.1) Right wingers and their donors will be better able to profit off privatized health care.
2) To wealthy right wingers, the proper order of things in society is that their wealth and privilege should buy them higher-quality medical care and quicker access than the unwashed masses get. The fact that they get the same priority and level of care as any old dirty pleb (unless they travel to the States) is no doubt considered an outrage.
3) If people are dependent on employer-provided medical insurance instead of public healthcare that’s freely available to every citizen, that gives employers far more leverage over their employees and traps people in shitty jobs they’d otherwise leave.
4) The persistent belief among the conservative base that absolutely everything that’s privately-owned and run-for-profit will operate better and more efficiently than anything that’s socialized/government-run. A lot of the higher-ups in the Conservative movement no doubt know this is BS, but it’s an effective argument that sells well to the people who vote for them.
…to name a few reasons.

I don't mean all wealthy people, or even all wealthy people with conservative political views.
But if you're a wealthy Canadian that's a conservative and believe that we should privatize our health care, I'm betting that the overwhelming majority of that group of people believes that their wealth and station should entitle them to better and quicker care than everyone else.
