Yeah, this is a fairly accurate description of my voting intentions. I have no enthusiasm for Trudeau or the Libs, but Poilievre would be infinitely worse. So I’ll vote for whichever non-CPC candidate in my riding has the best shot at winning.

Hopefully the same scenario will play out across the country. With the NDP vote largely collapsing to the Liberals (except for areas where the NDP candidate has a decided advantage) and then likely with the Bloc sweeping Quebec again.

And the best possible scenario might be a Poilievre minority “win”. Where it’s a poor enough showing that Trudeau & Singh resign and the Libs & NDP have a refresh. But where Poilievre falls well short of a majority and can’t find any governing partners willing to prop up his minority government.

Yeah, my hope at this point is a CPC minority. Which is pretty lame duck, especially with PP running them. He'll annoy the shit out of Canada really quickly, the other federal parties get to turn over their currently stale leadership groups and we'll have a vote of no confidence as soon as fundraising targets have been hit.

yeah, no they're not getting inside police stations and refusing to leave for 'weeks and months".

inconvenience other people? sure probably.

Well, the legal nuance was violating charter rights.

They could have just dealt with it without doing that. Trudeau has had a number of own goals that may lead us to PeePee land. Just step down already.

I agree JT scores lots of avoidable own goals. I don't think invoking the Emergencies Act was one of them though. I think most people supported it, violated charter rights or not. would be very interested to see polling on the topic...
