plus, it's not like PP becomes more and more likeable every time he opens his mouth

Important point.

Also, while the "Fuck Trudeau" people are ready to vote for anyone who isn't Trudeau, the PP Conservatives simply not having a platform other than dogwhistles and riding the "Fuck Trudeau" wave isn't a message that resonates with most people.

I'm good with a conservative minority fwiw, considering the alternatives.

Opposition parties rarely put out a platform before an election is called . When the Conservatives finally do it will be interesting which faction of the party supporters they focus on.

I'm not. The CPC are a bunch of fascists. Move to Alberta if you don't believe me. You don't want this shit in Ottawa, minority or otherwise.

Almost always the case, unless Quebec goes rogue as it did with the orange wave. I don’t think that will happen, but that is the only other scenario that could be game changing. Other clusters are either too baked in or too small.
It's ironic Quebec in voting for it's own allows GTA to decide the PM.
It's pretty wacky Quebec gets his own group to vote for that can never be voted for anywhere else.

The BQ is a huge political grift. They don't have enough candidates to form a government or, realistically, to become the official opposition. Their best and only hope is to hold the balance of power which they can barter for concessions from the Feds. But the Liberals don't need them because they have the NDP and the CPC base hates "frogs" and all things Quebec.

It's such a strange set-up we have going.
