Looks like 5-15 to me! At least till the end of the month.
Looks like 2-9 to me!
5+ for most of the month = nice month of weather for Presto!
I mean one of the reasons we fled Toronto was that we wanted to buy property, and weren't going to be able to afford anything remotely in our budgets anywhere close to the city. and that was in 2018. and prices have only skyrocketed since...
hell, my brother still lives in Toronto. got a massive bonus. thought about putting it towards a down payment, and concluded he couldn't afford mortgage payments.

yeah even in Halifax, it's not much better. Me and Mrs. Wayward are both lawyers. we had help from both of our parents. and it still took us over six months to find something, and getting outbid at least 10 times, usually well over asking.I don't say this lightly, it's at epidemic levels right now. You legit need two working adults with above to well above average jobs and minimal to no debt, pooling and saving their money for bunch of years just to afford a down payment on a smallish starter property that will suck up 50+% of their after tax income until they're 60+. Throw kids into that mix and I just don't see how it's tenable anymore.
the hill's too steep to climb at this point i'm sure but still nice to see.

Anyway yeah I mostly agree that Canada is pretty much broken. It's heartbreaking because there will be a lot of pain, but a massive recession is needed to reset a lot of the damage that is done.
