This gives some hope that as we get closer to election day, progressive support will start consolidating with either the LPC or NDP in order to keep Poilievre out of power.

Yeah, we're at the point where it's long past time to force these chinese companies to register subsidiaries in north america so that they're easier to deal with and regulate. The US seems to be in the middle of this with DJI (world leading drone manufacturer, by a lot). TikTok should be next. Inserting a bunch of state controlled trojan horses into our economy shouldn't fly.

Just did a quick search. Over $300 return ticket from Toronto to Montreal with over 5 hours ride each way.

So for a family of 4 tickets would cost over a grand and they'll get there slightly faster than car.

Pricing depend a lot on day of the week and type of seating (economy or first class) you want. There are cheaper fares but overall if you are flexible with day and time there are deals that cut cost. Tickets for young children and seniors can be cheaper or at least they used to be.

First class is by far the better way but then yeah you pay a fair bit more.
