Ah look I’m no fan of the Ford gov but they’re actually moving the needle on major public transportation projects. I’m sure the projects are rampant with enriching Ford’s crew, but they haven’t been shy about taking them on.

Just did a quick search. Over $300 return ticket from Toronto to Montreal with over 5 hours ride each way.

So for a family of 4 tickets would cost over a grand and they'll get there slightly faster than car.

Pretty sure I’ve at times found cheaper plane than train tickets for the same route. Should not be the case.
