This election is all about positioning relative to Trump and lowering cost of living. Also I think billionaire bashing would play well.

I also wonder if relief from bomb chucking drama queens might be an advantage? There’s been a lot if flooding the zone by screaming hammerheads, and maybe people find it exhausting. Didn’t quite work in the US, but there were other issues there.

of course, the next questions is why is a Canadian PM candidate doing the... American daily show tour?

I would bet that more canadians watch the daily show than any single canadian talk show.

Best thing that can happen to Freeland right now imo is getting some time and distance from Trudeau's government before she takes a run at the big chair. She's "only" 56, so there's still a lot of runway left in her career

Carney was Harper's choice to run the Bank of Canada. And Harper is a WEFer too. The people who worship Pee-Pee think that he's the son of God and God, to them, is Stephen Harper.
