She bundled herself in a car and got the fuck out of dodge as soon as the press started asking questions about her relationship with Goldy, she can run whatever cover fire she wants. The relationship can be dead 2-3 years ago and it doesn't matter without a full blown mea culpa. Goldy's been a full blown white nationalist for years. If you're running in her circle at any point in the last 6-7 years you either know exactly what you're doing or are too stupid to know better. Neither leaves you with glowing qualifications to serve in Parliament.

Scheer is just as good at campaigns as we all thought. Singh seems to be having a good week, so that's bringing them back to being the 3rd party that they traditionally are. Max being invited to the debates throws a wrench into things - I really don't know who that helps or hurts. It will make Scheer look less crazy, but on the other hand, I bet the Liberals are testing out the best way to keep saying "Bernier had the support of 49% of the Conservatives right up until the end". Also, gotta think of what the betting odds of Trudeau "accidentally" calling Scheer "Doug Ford" sometime in the debates - gotta be more than 50/50, right?

Max makes a bunch of those safe looking prairie and Alberta seats, a lot less safe. CPC might actually have to spend money to defend some of them as well, which is a huge win for a Liberal party that is a bit under funded compared to the CPC.

As for Scheer/Ford. I don't think Trudeau has to do something that blatant nationally. Nobody cares about Ford outside of Ontario and more clever modern shit like targeted social media marketing and viral campaigns (slapping new stickers over the carbon tax gas pump stickers and putting it out on IG using non official IG accounts and helping it trend, etc) are more effective than ham handed intentional missteps like that.
 
I don't think y'all quite realize how stoked I am to see my Alberta facebook fucking meltdown if Trudeau wins. People I didn't trust to tie their own shoes unsupervised out there are just fucking livid with Trudeau. The new one is trying to paint him as creepy for a poorly angled photo of him next to Andreescu at the rally in Mississauga.

Well other than the weather, the location, the city, and most of the people. Not bad at all.
 
there are billboards around edmonton that say to vote out X liberal candidate

eg. VOTE OUT SOCHI with a big picture of sohi - to me all that does is give sohi a bigger profile
