Yep.
Until you hit San Diego apparently, where things get weird.
So Carney needs to find 3 defectors
It's probably better optics for him right now just to pick a piece of legislation and go find 3 votes for/with it. His support was partially jacked from the NDP and BQ, so voters partial to either will likely look well upon him crafting legislation supported by either/both...and if the CPC are going to be anything other than obstructionist jerk offs, it wouldn't suck to work with them on smoothing out provincial trade barriers, energy infrastructure, etc.
I don't think selling out for a majority is the way here. I might be naive though.
They will fucken shit themselves if does a deal with Ford and Legault with a splashy media show.
Agreed, ride the momentum and do as much as possible as quickly as possible. All the good will, no party wants to be obstructionist this early. So what trump did kinda,. except not evil.I honestly think the play for Carney here is to earnestly attempt to roll out the platform you got elected to roll out and force motherfuckers to obstruct you, then call the obstructors out for it.
I don't think anyone is going to have the stones to get in the way of him for at least 12 months. Go hard in the paint immediately and just get shit done.
Count voted for them. I think he even worked with them during their formative period. He hates David Eby.It ain't just the province of Alberta with right wing whackjobs...
These guys came so close to forming the provincial government in British Columbia.
Yep, don't do what Obama did and waste time trying to reach across the aisle. Now is the time to ram progressive things down the CPC's throat.Agreed, ride the momentum and do as much as possible as quickly as possible. Its like the mountains are a sanity dividerInterior of BC is like Alberta. Same all the way down to SoCal.
A majority created by a floor crossing can also be ended by a floor crossingIt's probably better optics for him right now just to pick a piece of legislation and go find 3 votes for/with it.
