With markstrom out and Sammy being a suck....maybe you get vladar Tanev/ Hanafin And even Lindholm for Brodie , Sammy, Reaves,
 
Reaves is there so that when Calgary plays Edmonton he can just go out there and fight Kane.

If you get an agreed upon extension for anyone of those players at a reasonable price and term then you throw in Kampf or Robertson

I see Tanev as the bare minimum level of "difference maker". Not good enough for my tastes, but at least he's a guy that can do well in specific significant role.
 
Yeah I'm ok with that. They'll still be weke as fuck offensively on the back end but it does likely polish off their defensive game quite a bit and you can then slide Mo on a different pair to give him some easier minutes and get some actual offensive production on the back end, at least come playoff time. Ride the old guys on the top pair to play the toughs and hope for the best.
