Hmm if onky we had a GM who would go for a ballsy move like getting Karlsson...

this was your first post on the topic:
this was your second:
this was your third:

so the best I can glean from the above is that you have concluded that Tre's philosophy is to acquire exclusively "difference makers", and therefore any player Tre is interested in acquiring must be a "difference maker" in his eyes (based on post two).
for the reasons already explained, I disagree. if there is additional information that supports the conclusion you reached regarding Tre's philosophy, I would be keen to see it.
it's a message board, post what you want! it's boring when we all agree.Still waiting for what the "basis" is that we need in order to discuss something, Mr. Hutz
His quote was essentially “ya we looked at the market, but if we are going to make a trade it has to make sense in cost and impact”
so if they didn’t make a trade the reasonable implication is the cost and impact didn’t make sense.

I would start loving the team if we got them and didn't give up Knies or Robertson.not hard at all to fit Lindholm and Hanifin under the cap.
So just a run of the mill western Canadian?Seems like the CGY owner is vindictive enough towards Tre and the Leafs that he would veto any deal he deems is "helping them out"
I don't think so, no.Is Henrique any good at this point?
I cannot see Edmonton selling this season.Just looking at some of the bottom feeders and who may be available:
Chicago: Tyler Johnson
San Jose: Duclair, Granlund
Ducks: Henrique, Fowler? 2 more years left and 32 years old.
Ottawa: Tarasenko
Blue Jackets: long shot wish but Jenner, Provorov
Edmonton: likely nobody but maybe Brown for free if it only is $775k
Fairly slim pickings from the teams that look dead in the water.
