One thing I'll say though is that, cap issue aside, Tavares' production was something a lot of us expected to dip by years 5-7 of his deal, and it looks like those particular worries were unfounded.
I thought he was mocking WeHave at first. I was about to give it a solid laugh reaction. Still might tbh. Undecided.Seems like something WeHave would say.
I dunno, I kinda thought it was just saying rumours of his demise as a hockey player have been exaggerated that's all.
*edit* ah follow up post addressed it.
That was always the take. Years 5-7 would be real ugly. I'm surprised how much he's still scoring. One thing I'll say though is that, cap issue aside, Tavares' production was something a lot of us expected to dip by years 5-7 of his deal, and it looks like those particular worries were unfounded.
7 g in 24 gp is concerning. One thing I'll say though is that, cap issue aside, Tavares' production was something a lot of us expected to dip by years 5-7 of his deal, and it looks like those particular worries were unfounded.
Yup. Just saying he hasn't looked so hot of late.Is that not just a regular cold streak?
7 goals in the first 16 games, 0 in his last 8.
If we could do it all over again, would we do it exactly the same and just... keep Kadri?
Think I probably would.
No chance. $5m or under for sure, depending on term.If/when Tavares resigns in Toronto, but it won't be for a significant discount. If I had to guess, it would still be north of $7mil/season.
That's pants on head stupid.Standings are not based upon points percentage.
I am done.
