No Excuses No Limits! The mother fucking goddamn season thread

!!.png

So last night we finally saw Marner creep back over 50%, while Domi and Holmberg leapt over it.,

The only player of significance with a net negative xgf% now is Rielly, but he's been doing that in massive, tough minutes and he's barely negative.

The 4th line remains the only continuing disaster for the team. Holmberg's strong play, with McMann's decent play, gives Keefe a chance to fix it by dropping one of Gregor or Kampf but I highly doubt we see that happen. At least with Kampf there's faceoffs and PK reasons to keep him but dropping Gregor should not be a tough thing for coach to do.

today is 5 weeks since Woll went out.

I don't see him coming back on the upcoming western swing, so including today that's at least another 5 games without him. We will need a backup start for at least one game on that road trip though.

the earliest I see him back is for the WPG home and home the week after that - 10 and 13 days away, putting him over 6 weeks and close to 7 weeks after the injury.

But if there's any doubt at all he's fully recovered they probably hold him out for those 2gms too, which lead into the all-star break, which would let him get a full 8 weeks of recovery.

But that's 7gms including today before the break.

Pretty sure they said February at the earliest.
