Probably ends with 2000 by the end of the season.
Jarnkrok --- Matthews --- Marner
Bertuzzi --- Tavares --- Nylander
Knies --- Kampf --- Domi
Gregor --- Holmberg --- Reaves
Knies was showing more than Minty out there and was poised to strike soon.
Certain someone was claiming that, contrary to the masses as usual.
First game Knies had more than one SOG btw.
Not true.First game Knies had more than one SOG btw.
Knies always looks better than his productivity, which is the root of my "concern" (if projecting someone as a 25-30G 2 way winger is being fucking concerned about them, but whatev).
I have higher standards for him than you. Probably because I actually believe in the player, whereas you clearly think he has a limited ceiling. For that reason, I think he's been good but not great. He can and will be better. Not true.
And he's been great regardless.
You've been vocal about him since day one. I won't deny you proper recognition for that faith.I have higher standards for him than you. Domi is very lucky Knies can wire it top shelf like that and take a bad pass off his skate to his stick in a nanosecond to score.Don't look at me. I'm thrilled that Max was able to get the best out of Knies finally.

The worst NHL player is insanely skilled compared to any semi-regular human being. Some scrub former-Senator who I had never heard of came out to my son’s practice a couple of years back and the guy, who was like 45 at the time, was just carving up the ice like it was butter and flicking effortless backhands top corner whenever he wanted.Yes, Max is very fortunate that after tossing a pin point 40 foot backhand pass through a tiny gap between sticks that Knies could, with an incredible amount of time and space do something that most moderately talented NHL shooters can do.
Fun story. Timmy and I were at a game a bunch of years ago, great seats behind the Leafs net, and in warm ups watch Wade fucking Belak take laps and on each lap casually roof daddy a wrister dead in the corner. Like 4-5 times in a row with nothing resembling a miss. Completely unrelated to my original point of course.
