Keefe says Dewar in for Gregor tonight which means i guess that that's the only change at forward.....which means that we might be seeing the closest thing to our best possible forward lineup yet. The only one missing would be Jarnkrok, and we can debate whether that's much of a loss. I assume the lines will otherwise be the same as last game:

Bertuzzi - Matthews - Domi
McMann - Tavares - Marner
Robertson - Holmberg - Nylander
Knies - Kampf - Dewar

And i wouldn't mind seeing McMann/Robertson/Knies swapped around a bit to see what happens.

McDavid not getting 100 assists will hurt him (Assuming he is shut down for the regular season). This is the level of thinking these people put into it.

Btw, are we ready to blame Mitch's lack of goal scoring for Auston's lack of counting stat supremacy? 12 goals, 12 assists in 15 games since the Marner injury separated them. 66 goal 132 point pace.

I keep seeing think pieces about 100 assists being a more impressive accomplishment than 70 goals because only Wayne, Mario, and Orr have done 100 assists and a "bunch of guys" have scored 70.

Or it shows that you need to work on your shot, or that you need stop being a bitch and go to the net more often.

No one looks at a race car for the first time and says to themselves "man, if I work really hard, one day I'll be able to change the tires on that thing" or "hey, that guy who changes the tires looks like he needs someone to pass the tire to him....." because fuck 2nd assists.
