No Excuses No Limits! The mother fucking goddamn season thread

Not much choice on the blueline. Tho i bet gio is just maintenance.

Would be a great time for Timmins to come back. He was skating with mccabe yesterday didnt look far off.

Nice that he's swapping holmberg for Kampf but technically he did that ladt night before switching back in crunch time.

It’s so similar to when Babs got canned. The offense completely dried up, and they went from the Blob, to low percentage point shots.

This year? 20th in 5v5 xGF/60 and the Blob…

It’s moved to outside the left circle. The only reason they have a decent record is because the big 4 are still scoring anyway.

But this seems to be a system change that isn’t working.

I wonder if Tree gave Keefer new marching orders and we're just seeing the early results. Who knows. Regardless, the performance to date has been shit.

I mean it seems clear that Reaves is a complete boat anchor out there. Any line he's on will be under water.

So we either need to bench him entirely, or Keefer needs to bench him more throughout the games and rotate our stars with whoever 4LC is and Gregor (who I've actually liked overall).

I also don't understand why we gave up on Minten so quickly yet have so much patience for Holmberg...

and of course Robbie is knocking too and deserves a chance over everyone in our current bottom six.

The Maple Leafs held their first full practice since Oct. 30. Up until that time, the club took days away from the ice to recover from being on the road for six of their last seven games until Saturday's game.

"Between that and what’s happening with our group of late, timing’s right to work on some different things," Keefe said of the change.

Keefe said on Saturday night that the lack of scoring in the bottom six was concerning. When asked a follow-up on how he can get them going, the head coach named three players — Knies, David Kampf, and Max Domi — who he'd like to see more offense from.

"It's a lot of heavy lifting for our top guys right now for sure," he continued.

lmao he actually expects more offense from Kampf. says so much.

well for a guy providing an offense score of 0 on a scale of 1-100, I'd like to see more offense too. With his ice-time there's no reason he can't be a 3 or 4 out of 100.
