No Excuses No Limits! The mother fucking goddamn season thread

activating Timmins puts the leafs over $1m over the cap.

so they would have to demote 2 of McMann/Benoit/Lagesson to fit him in, meaning at least one of Reaves or Klinger in the starting lineup.

man would it be encouraging to see Brad quickly correct his mistake and just ditch Klingberg. preferably via trade but even waiving him gives us just enough caproom .

Timmins has to at least be comparable to Klingberg, but he's better if he can keep doing anything close to what he did last year. Benoit and Lagesson have shown they're good enough depth, and Niemela/Kokkonen/Villeneuve all look promising too.

See how we look with Lilly and Timmins in there fulltime and then decide if there's a worthwhile upgrade available at the deadline.

Knies --- Matthews --- Marner
Bertuzzi --- Tavares --- Nylander
Robertson --- Domi --- Jarnkrok
Gregor --- Kampf --- McMann
(Bellows --- Holmberg --- Reaves)
(Cowan --- Minten)

Rielly --- Brodie
McCabe --- Liljegren
Giordano --- Timmins
(Benoit --- Lagesson)
(Kokkonen --- Niemela)

It looks good to me. Feel like the nerdies will right themselves a bit.

Would waiving & demoting Reaves do the trick?
