Things I like about the Leafs deadline: no rentals, acquired players with term at (I believe) a nice aav, assuming there's some Carlo retention.

Laughton fills a need and 2 playoffs with a 3c at 1.5 is lovely.

Carlo could be a beast if he can regain his form.


Things that make me nervous: offense from d got worse than what was already a disaster, Carlo has sucked this year and no guarantee he fits with the Leafs, wish they grabbed more of an impact player for a package like what they gave up.

Granted, I guess you can say Carlo can be quite impactful if he turns back into the Carlo that I'm more familiar with. But ultimately still nervous about this one.
 
if it's Benoit that comes out of the lineup then they haven't actually lost any offense from the D.
