One or two excuses & probably quite limited! The "ah fuck, here we go again" playoff thread

I want them to ask Keefe whether or not he’s going to eat a cheeseburger for breakfast.

If he says it’s a possibility, I think we should all interpret things to mean that Nylander is definitely playing.

Boston fans seem to think he's a big loss, even though he's probably shit. But that might speak to how overrated the rest of their dmen might be...especially given how McAvoy and Lindholm look so far. (I.e. worse than Rielly and McCabe).

But more importantly, i'm pretty sure this injury came on a huge hit by Reaves at the end of a long shift that fucking mizzi was crying like a little bitch about.

gotta like the looks of that for us.

their 4th line looks good but that's probably home ice advantage in very cushy usage by coach.

the only actually promising number there for the bruins is the Lindholm-Carlo pairing looking very solid in tough matchup usage against the top lines.

also why is Eddy-Lilly our d pair with the most ES ice time?

good question.

i think it's probably fluke tho.

1. Rielly-Boosh becomes Rielly-Liljegren in o-zone starts, so that's actually our "top pair".

2. I think Benoit and McCabe have had a bunch of penalties that's limited their ice time a bit.

note: i changed the color-coding slightly because in head to head series all that matters is how you're doing against the opponent, not against an entire league. so now "average" is 50%, not 52.5% like i used in season because we were supposed to be a "good" team, not an average team. so now 47.5-52.5 is neutral. 52.5-57.5 is good/light blue. 57.5+ is very good/dark blue. 42.5-47.5 is bad/orange. less than 42.5 is awful/red.

frustrating that the series is even though, despite the shit performance of most of their forwards. but encouraging if we can keep it up.

the problem is that we're usually a much better road team than home cause of dumdum. so I expect the Bruins numbers to improve in Toronto...
