which is why its so concerning that the CCP can manipulate the content at the drop of a hatpeople make fun of tiktok, but it's a pretty good sample of what younger people are thinking and care about....and stupid dances and trends

heh, this is a good pointwhat young people care about on tiktok seems much less stupid than what old people care about on facebook.
I dunno likely a product of my age but my teenage years weren't really spent with so much times in front of screens and on apps.
like our hang outs were typically not technology based.
the extent of it for me was EA Sports video games I think. but I'm also admittedly kind of a weirdo and not likely representative of folks my age/cohort.I think we did both....when school clocks out at 3, you have plenty of time to hang for hours and watch hours of tv

One thing I'll say about today's kids is that they are using their phone to make their own content. Sure, 99% of it is shit but it's still better than what we did which is passively watch the same repeats hours per day.
Pre-driving years, basically the schedule after school was, grab a snack, play NHL 91 while talking to girls on the phone, then dinner while watching prime time tv, then homework, more NHL and phone, and then sleep eventually. No screen during school and very little on weekends though. The good old days. Nostalgic feelings kicking in.I think we did both....when school clocks out at 3, you have plenty of time to hang for hours and watch hours of tv
Website originally linked is definitely unreliable. So take it with a grain of salt for now.looks fake
