Yeah old Joe was a dumb meathead and he knew it, and was curious to learn but also learn to be more progressive and kinda push back at the classic meathead trope.

…..then the right wingers started telling him how smart he is, fed him every talking point his old meathead self would jump all over…..and slowly but surely turned him into their useful idiot. (I legitimately wouldn’t even be surprised if this was Peter Thiel’s “plan”…..given his right hand man Eric Weinstein started appearing on the podcast for no real reason, and has been Joe’s best manipulator ever since)

Jordan Peterson, The Weinsteins, Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, they all showered Joe in praise leveraging his ego against him, while feeding him all the pro-masculine toxicity his old self recognized and before you knew it, and have him regurgitating every right wing talking point imaginable.

(He fucking went from being a Bernie Bro, to a Trump cuck…..without any self-awareness of said change taking place)

It’s also when he stopped being a great host in the vein of a Larry King….who knew his job was to be the uninformed audience proxy, and ask the questions the audience wants answered, so they can learn from the guest……but no, instead he’s now always trying to show his everyone how “smart” he is, by directing every discussion away from the guests category of expertise (that we should be learning about), so that he could wax on about some topic they know nothing about, repeat some talking points and flatter himself that this somehow means he’s very intelligent.


It’s one of the most embarrassingly obvious instances of Dunning Kruger…..and he’s entirely oblivious to it.

It doesn’t….but it plays to the left of the base, while giving people a reason to get out and vote so that this sort of thing could be implemented in the future.

Also just shines a spotlight on how much they’ve politicized & bastardized the courts in recent years.

I don't think Trump and co will get what they want. Neither in the Georgia review, nor with violence elsewhere. The latter because there are people who stormed the capital and have had their lives ruin through prosecution. We have seen this in low number of protestors in Trump events like his court hearings.

For the former, AZ is now prosecuting people for the fake electors' scheme and Trump has shown time and time again that he'll throw people under the bus. When time comes, enough people will get cold feet as a result.

A piece of advice: there are legit things you can criticize about Harris and/or Walz if you want. But the "stolen valor" thing isn't one of them. Of course people from the far right were going to try, because they have no shame. But even they are realizing there's nothing there other than embarrassment ... for them. Stop being a stooge for these dishonest actors and actually think this through.

And by the way, one of the guys working the "Swift Boat" angle against John Kerry, which itself was bullshit, is part of this effort to do it again. Don't believe it!

Once change this time around, is that if the results of the election are not certified by a certain date ( November 14th?) People can be sued.

He was right about the childless cat lady comments. People who have no stake in the future of the country (no children) are ruining the country because they have no perspective on life and no stake in the future prosperity of the country. Really very astute observation by him.

Childless cat ladies on SSRI's. Kamala practically the posterchild of that.
