Abortion is officially on the ballot in the following states:

Montana
South Dakota
Nebraska
Missouri
Colorado
Arizona
Nevada
Florida
New York
Maryland


This should play into the numbers. Anyone who votes for the initiative, isn't going to vote for the party against it.
Abortion has never lost an election, but South Dakota will probably change that today.
