CNN, MSNBC, pretty much every national news outlet, plus Kimmel, Fallon, Colbert, Stewart, Oliver, and every big (and small) name celebrity like Clooney and others who spoke out against him. Almost the entirety of the mainstream was ridiculing him on a 24/7 loop.

You must be kidding yourself if you think the content I see is due to the social algorithms.

Yup. So as much as those of us who know better want to bash their heads off of a fucking wall at the stupidity of those who don't understand anything, it's up to the people who message shit as a profession to say "hey, you know it's bullshit and you know that we know it's bullshit, but let's come up with a red meat soundy policy for tackling inflation that threads the needle between not horrifically offending non morons who know inflation is under control, but gives the others a weighted anxiety blanket whenever the question comes up"

Because there's really no rational excuse for people preferring Trump to any Democrat on taking care of the economy. It's all vibes.
 
TLDR: Big beefy muscles, deep masculinity, and catchphrases like can you smell what the wrong is cooking? This would have done it. You can't run against a guy working at McDonald's and talking to media in a garbage truck by being a serious person.
