Agreed entirely. The "problem" with political podcasts/youtube from a Democrat stand point is that the most people content creators are basically Bernie Bros in their alignment. So they're not exactly a safe space for a centrist democrat either. It's definitely an area for them to work on for their outreach and Trump policies will probably create fertile enough ground for it if the don't fucking bottle it.
 
I am not denying she had the incumbent disadvantage, and of course, she lost votes due to gender, but all that was baked in from the get go.

After a promising start, she had enough own goals

and she played it too safe

Disagree.. But in the last half century Well I guess Reagan wasn't bad for the economy.
 
Maga suddenly becoming health nuts when they mocked Big Mike for her health program is my favorite thing. Everyone is a follower and will support what their favorite players/teams are doing or saying.

I was having a similar debate IRL today.

People are prone to create grand narratives at the end of every result (we see this in sports all the time)
though, a few thousands vote here and there, and the same pundits would say "America has made itself clear. It wants (all of the opposite things)"

Starting with the stock market crash, of the 15 recessions 11 were under Republican governments

Feel free to google it. It is true

Of the three major economic downturns, all three were under Republicans

All 3 recoveries were under Democrats

Google it

The stock market and value of 401k’s are always higher under Democrats

Job creation?

It isn’t even close 50-1

There is zero evidence that Republicans are better on the economy

Best example of my lifetime is 08 Obama. If anyone had a mandate to change the country it was him. Coming off of an 8 year Bush admin disaster. Epic financial collapse, entire system almost sank, 2 expensive foreign wars going on etc. Got obstructioned to death on every change he tried to make and a lot of the same people who voted for "change" needed a decade to pass before they stopped calling his biggest achievement Obamacare and hating it.
