That's why this action is such a no-brainer - none of us have to volunteer. We aren't fighting over there. The only reason this is going on at all is that unlike places like Georgia, this time the Ukrainian people actually rose up and fought the invasion. Neither the US nor Europe was ready to help until the ukrainians themselves fought for their freedom.

But we don't have to be hard - we're not even fighting. We're just supporting their fight. It's easy.

But you keep shaking in your boots about nuclear war - well guess what, if we're talking about nuclear war, then we're all volunteering even if we stay here behind our keyboards. You can be a chickenshit scared that vladdy will start a global nuclear war and let him do what he wants. Personally i prefer a world where we don't let lunatics with nukes dictate global policy.
