We're witnessing, in Realtime, the culmination of years of effort...the bad guys worked their asses off while the "good guys" did nothing.
So, not really any good guys left.
The hope lies in the fact that the rest of the world can see it. If we can figure it out, maybe the good people left in the states can keep it together for a few years and win the country back.
If they rig it too hard and it's another trumper in the White House, I think we can safely say America as we know it is dead.
