That chyron is perfect and watching them get progressively worse is going to be hilarious.

Trump: We're going to bring down the prices
Trump: Bringing down the prices is going to be too hard
Trump: Prices could go up somewhat short term
Trump: Biden inflation is way up
Trump: Prices going up are necessary to make america great again

In fact, a turgid, low growth economy only enhances their oligarchic grip. No new rivals generated by a dynamic economy or uppity middle class people thinking they can change jobs or wield political power. They want control, not growth.
