Yeah, I think this is how they're trying to angle it. They've clearly wanted to blame Zelensky for the failure of peace "negotiations" from the onset. If we're going full cynic (which never seems to end up cynical enough in retrospect...), they're going to continue trying to engage Zelensky in this same way long enough to push Ukraine to remove him from the process (the Rada won't, even if they could do so legally). Trump will fully pull the plug on American aid (my understanding is it's already pulled, they put a spending freeze on aid a few weeks ago if memory serves) and claim that they're out, it's Zelensky's fault that the war isn't over, etc. The only question for me after that is whether they'll allow Europe to transfer US gear to Ukraine, or buy US gear for Ukraine. Again, my cynical side says they won't. Trump will take the intervening time to talk about how nice Russia is being to him and how we should be removing sanctions and sanctioning Ukraine.

Really struggling with a lot of anger towards those who minimized this guy.

that 10 min clip is the most disturbing thing I've seen all year (and there's been some very strong contenders)

I was meeting a buddy for lunch and this happened to be on the TV nearby live as we were sitting.

I've never seen anything like it before. Trump and Vance were just yelling at Zelenskyy and they were all talking over one another. I was legit worried they were gonna come to blows.

And yeah, Zelenskyy is a fucking champion.

I think that’s a foregone conclusion. Military aid, and even more crucially US intel support is done. Starlink too maybe.

Only question for me is how overt the US goes now in supporting Russia.
