Because they're idiots. Cash out and walk away, or accept that your utopian vision was a dark money casino the whole time and sit back while the crooks make you wealthy.

The core utility of crypto currencies has always been "anonymity". Which only a child can be naive enough to not understand that in this world, it means that the worst people on the planet get to move their dirty money around with fewer problems.

Smaller networks are easier to take bigger chunks of, making the run larger when the news is announced.

BTC is up 9.5%
ETH is up 14.2%
Solana is up 24%
XRP is up 32%
ADA is up 59%

BTC is a 1.9 Trillion dollar network, it's harder for a smallish group of insiders to control a lot of the network. ADA though? Started the day as a ~23 Billion dollar network is up almost 60% on the day. Pretty easy for a small group of wealthy cunts in the know to slowly buy in since the election
