If I was running a liberal state, I would be offering grants/assistance to anyone from these red states who wanted to move. Texas has been poaching companies from other states for decades (way easier than doing the hard work of attracting international investment like NY and Cali put their efforts into), why not poach the educated young from these shithole states?

Pay moving expenses, provide rent assistance for 12/24 months, etc.

Maybe not, but 22% of Louisiana residents have a college degree. Start poaching them and brain drain their economies. Women make up roughly 60% of advanced degree graduates now....probably an easy sell to get them to leave their home state if it's just declared that their uteri are now state property. Might need some help with moving costs, rent, student loan repayment, etc though. Remove that as a barrier.

Sure, but that's a struggle. I've been to North Dakota... no one from a liberal (usually urban) area is moving there.

If you add Wyoming, and pull the same stunt there, combined the population of the 3 states barely gets you to 2 million. Someone in politics needs to think outside the box. That flips 6 senate seats.

The senate vote would never pass seeing that you need 60 votes. What it will do is expose each Senator's position to the public. This could come into play in November.

we've all for the most part grown up in a world where it is just... normal for women to have agency/control over their bodies.

that's the norm and anything different seems deeply offensive and upsetting.
