If only all the classroom doors and chairs in all the schools were identical to this. Oh, and that window in the door is probably a bad idea.

The answer is not to build schools like we build supermax prisons. The answer is gun control. The answer has always been gun control. The answer will always be gun control.

And it will never happen, at least in the US of A. The only thing that will keep happening are mass shootings.
 



Thankfully, 1000 isnt actually a big number, especially since all 1000 were probably the same cut and paste with "unique' signatures put together by like the Rebel or something.

I fully expect the usual suspects (Poilievre, Bernier, Sun Media, Rebel Media, Alberta rednecks with Trudeau Derangement Syndrome) to be in a state of high dudgeon over this wildly popular move. And to them I say "Kindly go fuck yourselves."

I'm not saying to ignore it, but this move is probably not possible in literally tens of thousands of schools across the US. Besides which, it's a sad and insufficient response to a problem that requires political will to solve. Unfortunately the only ones in America with sufficient will to see things through are Republicans and their lobbyists.
