OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

Some of the jump could be contributed to the length of time it can take to get results. I heard today that that one person who’s has been in isolation received her results yesterday, 13 dayys after being tested. Good news for her is that the results was negative for the virus. So yeah, catch- up could be accounting for some of the increase.

I don't know if its the usual way to present voter opinion, but I find those charts a bit misleading. It's still less than 40% of CPC voters who consider COVID overblown. That's far and away the most of any group, but still shows the majority of CPC voters are taking it seriously.

Seem like it just says most Canadians aren't stupid but the stupid people happen to be mostly conservative. I guess the only concerning thing is that you're really relying on stupid people to abide by public health directives right now so the more guys like Ford that put aside the other battles temporarily and echo the doctors, the better.

Italy reported 4,050 new COVID-19 cases today, the lowest daily number since March 17.

Spain reported 5,085 new COVID-19 cases today, the lowest daily number since March 22.

Germany reported 3,690 new COVID-19 cases today, the lowest daily increase since March 22.

Some good signs. But man, 5,000 new cases in a day is the good news... staggering.

They really should be providing totals by the date the swab was taken. Anyone know if that's available anywhere?

Like for each day, x swabs taken, x positive, x negative, x waiting results, would be a lot more useful.

Started feeling ill on saturday afternoon and has gotten worse (think bad cold). I talked with my doctor today since i have a history of pneumonia and here is what she said: " you dont meet the requirements to be tested but it sounds viral (cough, sore throat, fatigue and chest pain when coughing), so we are going to work from the assumption you have it"
