OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

I agree with them being in worse shape than October tho. It's not asking whether they're in worse shape than 2020.

Nice thread and close to the consensus I've seen from many folks. This dude is a bit melodramatic at times but it's a nice summary of what's to come.

According to Jemmm, myocarditis from "the jab" is out of control. She doesn't mention myocarditis from covid. If only we could invent some kind of "math" system to keep track of such things.

Yep. Hence my daily reality dose.

Speaking of which, my cousin has spread to his wife and their two kids (both single jabbed). Similar mild symptoms in the family.

Another cousin (boosted) has caught it. Cold symptoms that dissipated after 2 days.

Despite the anecdotes it's important to remember that it's obviously significantly more dangerous than the flu, which ain't no picnic either (IFR for vaxxed folks is 3-6x higher than flu). Follow the data, folks. It's gonna be tough to handle the hospital load in the coming years but the hope is frequent exposure continues to reduce severity and wishful thinking, but maybe this eventually becomes another coronavirus common cold. But that is years, maybe decades, down the road if we happen to ever get there.

Twitter is such a wild mess of math illiterates and morons. I love it.

Someone just tweeted that if 19M cdns get it in the next three weeks at 0.3% hospitalization we would run out of beds in the country. That is some case growth right there.

I think this is probably the route that needs to be taken eventually, I guess I'm just surprised the US is doing it right now while Omicron is just picking up and they have such a huge portion of unvaxxed.

But whatever I'm boosted and I'm tired of arguing with people. Everyone can do whatever they want, especially the US.
