I think the US is kinda screwed, even if omicron is a piece of cake for vaxxed. Raw numbers of unvaxxed is too large and this will find 'em all.

The dude I went to high school that became one of the prominent antivax voices in Toronto recently moved to Florida and all he does is post stuff bragging about his experiences there and how there isn't a pandemic there or masks or any of that.

I believe that's the plan, yes. I sorta respect that he left to join people with his mentality instead of bitching about things here.
But he's young, fit and healthy. I am very worried it's going to feel like a mild cold for him. VERY worried. We need some Presto luck that it puts him and/or his girlfriend on their ass. I don't do religion, but I will this one time. Pray for me please.

Statistically this is true unfortunately. And the sad part is they were saved by those who got the jab. But I think we ALL have our personal lists of folks we'd like taken down. Fingers crossed!I fear that a huge portion of the anti-vaxxers are going to breeze through this and that I'll...errr...I mean, we will never hear the end of it.
