OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

So yeah this democrat thing in refusing to acknowledge China's fault in all of this is incredibly bizarre to me. It's okay to acknowledge there are some real fucking issues there.

I mean I agree, but "food is gross" is a very first world problem. If you are starving and there is a frog...

Yeah, if you’re starving and haven’t eaten anything resembling protein for a week+, there are a whole lot of things that’d start looking very appetizing to even the pickiest of eaters in the first world.

Also, that Dr. that freaked everyone out on Joe Rogan's podcast was talking about all kinds of fucked up diseases Animals in North America have he is concerned about evolving to be able to transfer to humans. We're not safe here either.

Also...we're just culturally different about the treatment of animals than the Chinese (specifically) are. Most of us are okay with a certain amount of animal cruelty if it's kept from our daily notice and called factory farming. The chinese will happily to go a market to pick some random ass live animal out of a fucking cage it can't turn around in and watch it get butchered in front of them.

China definitely fucked up big time, and thats not racist to say at all. Even if you give them the live animal markets, they still lied and tried to suppress this thing way beyond even what Trump has done. Maybe they couldn't have completely stopped the transmission there, but maybe they could have. At the very least they could have been honest and shared information as early as November/December to let the world prepare. They fucked us all.

Please. I could never survive as a vegan. I do steak, chicken, and fish. That's it. I don't even touch lamb, duck, and other less common animals.

That's a very North American perspective. The foods you listed are very common in other Western nations.

As for other "weird" food, you wouldn't be so picky if you didn't always know when your next meal was coming. Food scarcity has been the reality for most of our history (and still is in certain parts of the world)

commented one day about imagine what sick **** decided for the first time that hey, we should really see what a frog's legs taste like, and should put an octopus in our mouths
The answer is usually starvation. Millenia ago people that were starving were trying everything. It's how we've found out what's poisonous too.

Literally nobody is refusing this.

Simply questioning the relevance and priority of discussing this at this moment.

I mean it's funny that we think some animals are perfect to eat and others are gross.

Even when we raise our livestock on manure-raised food.
