I guess some silver linings but overall just... shitty.
Long story, but she said she wasn't gonna come so they didn't invite her. And then a day or two before she asked to come and they said yes. She's a horrible person.Brides mom was a last minute invite?
Yeah... Still not completely confident I'm in the clear personally. Woke up with significant back pain today and I know that's how my cousins symptoms started. But no other issues at the moment. With Omicron by day 5 after exposure there's a good chance you're in the clear if you feel fine... But in hindsight maybe I don't feel fine.I guess some silver linings but overall just... shitty.
Sounds like she spread covid out of spiteLong story, but she said she wasn't gonna come so they didn't invite her. And then a day or two before she asked to come and they said yes. She's a horrible person.
this is how it startsTo make matters worse, the booster sorta fucked up my dad I think. There are plenty of long haulers who get their symptoms from the vax so it's not impossible, but it appears to be legit. He's tested for inflammation fairly regularly and he did one shortly after his booster and he's got random inflammation all over his body now and has been in a lot of pain. Really need safer vaccines (again, disclaimer: not an antivaxxer).
It's true. This time even the doctor is on board with the theory because he has a couple other patients with the same issue after getting vaccinated. I just think if the plan is to boost everyone every 4-5 months, the risk of adverse effects increases with each needle you get. Still small risks but not ideal!this is how it starts
in a few months you will be telling us the masks are the devil
but seriously - hope everyone recovers soon
not ignoring covid ftwbetter vaccines would help
not ignoring covid would also help
2nd time since January for her? When did symptoms start/when did she test positive? Saturday is technically not impossible.pandemic has been 'over' for all of 10 days in NS. annnnnd Ms. Wayward has fucking covid.
we dined out on Saturday (we both had birthdays this month) but I feel like symptoms would have shown up sooner if it was from that. only other option is I infected her or she got it from (presumably the unmasked bozos at) the climbing gym. fun times.
tested positive this afternoon.2nd time since January for her? When did symptoms start/when did she test positive? Saturday is technically not impossible.
Well shit. And I remember you said she tested positive in January too, so it's hard to say this isn't a re-infection if that's the case. Saturday exposure is possible especially since she tested positive this early, but yeah could be the gym too. Usually a healthy boosted or previously infected person will get symptoms earlier on as your immune system responds far faster than an immunonaive person, but there are always exceptions. My brother's symptoms started Monday and my dad's Wednesday night so it can vary. Hope it's mild for her and I hope you escape it.tested positive this afternoon.
symptoms... tougher to say. she has been fatigued since like... much of the week. but sore throat and runny nose started today.
and yeah, we both are confident we had it back in January, one week post booster, thanks to my paralegal.
