OT: MLB Thread

and home run king Barry hit 762
Aaron got his legitimately so he's still the king of untainted home runs. Aaron also didn't play in an era when everything in baseball was done to facilitate dingers, from the balls being juiced to fences being brought in and lowered to allow for cheap HR,s. Aaron played in an era when the mound was higher and when the game was dominated by pitching. Bonds wouldn't be knocking hundreds of balls out of the yard against the likes of Koufax or Bob Gibson, who would have drilled him just for looking like an entitled asshole when he stepped to the plate

Well, here is your chance to see a player that is Bonds-like plus (switch hitter with equal power on both sides) and will not be allowed to inflate his numbers using drugs. Interesting to see where his career goes.

I was shocked watching that Netflix doc about Reggie Jackson. Near the end of it they show him on the field watching the Yankees take batting practice and at one point he has a conversation with Aaron Judge. Reggie looks like a toddler standing next to Judge, who towers over him.

Back in the day, Reggie was considered, if not big, at least not undersized. But Judge is built like a linebacker. He's massive.
