What's your dad's fagioli?

As basic as it gets. Soupy tomato sauce, pasta and beans. Nostalgia tastebuds for that guy. He grew up really broke so it was a staple. Every Monday it was served with the same stories that his town would "win" national Fagioli awards in the 70s and 80s. Big source of pride there. His Fagioli was NOT award winning, however.
