OT: Movies/TV Shows

I never cared much for the DC Universe, was definitely a Marvel kid. DC was just boring by comparison. They've certainly made a lot of good Batman movies and the Arkham Asylum game was great, as were the first 2 Christopher Reeve Superman films.

They're going for younger. And if they're walking away from all the other actors (Affleck and Gadot and that great choice for Flash eep), they need to have a new guy play Supes or else he bleeds over from the last abandoned iteration of the universe to the new one. I think it sucks because Cavill is perfect, but if they're starting fresh with new people, it makes sense. And considering just how shit literally all of the post-Nolan DC movies have been, they ought to start over and forget that horrible era.

Young Superman. Just out of college and starting out at the Daily Planet. Showing his beginnings is what Gunn is currently writing.

For their time, the X-Men movies were good, but they're really nothing special. Zero interest in rewatching them.

I like Deadpool, but don't totally love it.

I do really want to see the Deadpool Wolvie team up though.
 
Not confirmed, maybe be coincidence in timing. I know I read he was unhappy with how they were straying from the source material.
 
Anyone watch Wednesday on Netflix? Wife and I really liking it so far. Christina Ricci in it is a cool throwback.

Are the best sitcoms post-Seinfeld in my mind. Depending whether you consider cartoons a sitcom, I have Futurama way up there too.
