To me, Gal Gadot & Henry Cavill in DC both remind me of Pierce Brosnan as Bond. Perfect for the role they were cast in and they did a great job with it…but unfortunately for the most part they were saddled with scripts that were flaming trash piles.

So I can’t say I’m too bothered by Gunn wanting to make a clean break with the Snyder-verse and wanting to start fresh.

And if you are going to make a clean break and start over, both actors are pushing 40, which is getting a bit long in the tooth for them to launch a new DCU while playing those two characters.
