I just think he’s known well in the fantasy and action world, but zero presence in dramas so far, or comedies, or anything else - he’s very niche.

He’s Superman!!, and was the lead in a massive hit on Netflix….and you’re saying “he’s very niche” lol

I guess David Tennant is too old to be Bond at 52? And maybe not pretty enough? He definitely has more than enough chops.

He's not that big though. He swells up plenty for the superhero stuff, but he's "only" 6 foot 190-200 pounds (which is biggish compared to a lot of these hollywood guys, but not abnormally). Wouldn't be hard to lean him out a bit for Bond.

Those are very niche. A lot of people saw the DC movies, but like I said, they go for the Superman character, not the Superman actor. It’s the same way Brandon Routh remained a nobody despite being in a big Superman movie. Cavill is obviously a lot bigger, has been in multiple DC movies, but again, just test it out, ask 10 people who Henry Cavill is and see how many know.

The fact that Cavill isn't famous despite the huge roles is a strike against him, not for him. He just lacks charisma.

Bond was described....in the 50's....as being 6'0 and about 170 pounds.

So I think I've found a Bond built a bit more to your liking if he can pull off the accent.

I guarantee his charisma will be off the charts after Bond. Don’t judge him off of having to play a bland superhero and under the radar video game character.
