OT: Movies/TV Shows

8. The City of Boston, it's sports teams, anyone who has ever played for one of it's sports teams and just to be safe anyone who has ever inhabited the city of Boston or considered it.

Chappelle and Gervais are funny but the headline tells no lies. Its been the base of their jokes for a while now
I don't think it is the base of their jokes...

They told a few jokes about it (as comedians do) and then it was brought up constantly in the media, by groups etc and therefore it became a bit that kept on growing.

I'm on the side of comedy should need to be taken as it is... a joke. Good for Will Farrel doing this documentary... but he's not a stand up comic, so the humour in his documentary is not geared towards bits.

Just saying.

He's a funny guy and remarkably talented, he should stick to making jokes. His specials are just him making comments now, not being funny. It would be almost fine if there were jokes somewhere in the trans stuff or even if he left it at just one special. But he's unwatchable now. I couldn't do his last special. Never thought I'd say that about him.

So Gosling did get nominated for Barbie and none of the women did.

oh wait America Ferrara did get a supporting actress nom.

disagree... but that's okay.
if the premise of your comedy bit is "trannies aren't people" I just don't find it funny. It's not offensive for me or anything, few things cross a line in the name of comedy. But it's just unfunny. We all have different tastes in comedy so that's fine.

Also, Chappelle spent an entire show complaining about how hard it is to do his job these days because trans people are sensitive and combative

Save the workplace whining for your friends.

I want to hear jokes, bitch!
