OT: Movies/TV Shows

Season 1 had a trash ending imo….series was at its best in the first 4-5 episodes, when it was all about those two characters and the case was almost a MacGuffin in the background.

Glad you said that. hated the ending and left a bad taste

define "legit"?

On one hand, it looks dope as fuck. On the other hand, it's a Disney production.

I'll be checking it out personally.

I know the book is considered an absolute masterpiece….so like some of the better shows of late, they at least have phenomenal source material to work off.

Also know some critics who saw ep 1 and have pretty good taste for the most part, and they seemed extremely bullish on it.

Def think it’s on the list of must watch, until it proves otherwise.

I still remember the old 80s series:

Considering when it was made (and it was made for a Western audiance by a TV studio), I think they did a pretty good job (especially Richard Chamberlain in the lead role).

heh, he was in a ton of 'made of TV' stuff during this era including Jason Bourne:

Interesting trailer. Looks kinda good, but I don't have much patience these days, not to mention for some 5-6 hour western drama.

You can tell Costner has been dying to take another crack at another feature that could get him back on top. Doubt it's in the cards, but will be keen to find out.
