Unfortunately, it appears not. Such a shame too... not only is the show perfect, but they were also clearly setting up at least a 3-season arc. From what I understand, it was just so much work and more expensive than they wanted it to be. Apparently, as great as the product is, Fincher is not the easiest guy to work with.
 
I recently watched All of us Strangers, starring Andrew Scott. He was very good, as per usual. The show was pretty good. Deserving of the 7.7/10 is gets on IMDB.

That scene has maybe two of my favourite line readings in TV history….both from Scott. (“Burn you” & “no you won’t”……imagine writing that dialogue and then witnessing JUST how much he elevated those words on the page. 😮‍💨)

Scott has had plenty of his own success, and I do love Cumberbatch in almost anything…..but imo AS blows him out of the water in terms of on screen charisma & acting talent. Weird in retrospect that he hasn’t had (imo) a fraction of the mainstream (leading man) success yet.

To me he’s a Sam Rockwell/Daniel Day Lewis level talent.

Those are good lines on paper, but Scott's delivery make them great.

It's funny how those "great" actors rarely become huge stars. Perhaps they have the unwillingness to take the popular roles without a ton of character depth. Cumberbatch is a great actor, but he also does doesn't seem to take himself too seriously either.
 
“Red Lights” (2012) is one of the most fascinating dogshit movies I’ve watched this decade….Sigourney Weaver, DeNiro, Cillian Murphy, Toby Jones, Elizabeth Olsen.



….its riveting how bad it is. Not remotely entertaining, not even in a “it’s so bad it’s good way”…..it’s just shocking it exists.

I saw it when it came out and recall how bad it was. Great talent and just a turd.
