I think that's why James Woods is so effective at playing a certain type of character (eg., slimy etc.,).

As to Slater, I think his mother was a high level casting agent that likely helped him get some roles in his career.

I don't think I've seen it mentioned in decades. Only R and PG and G. I guess they got rid of it.

They are basically the same, with subtle differences i think

Interesting. I never equated the absence of that rating with being in the US.

Yeah, the last time I probably saw it was with a movie when I was in Canada.

Yeah, I misread it. My only recollection of AA ratings is from when I lived in Toronto. Haven’t seen it since. So it’s not used there anymore?

It actually mattered because I remember at one point they carded for R movies and didn’t let us in when we were in high school.

Furiosa is good, but not at the level of Fury Road. They spend more time in developing the story, but it's at the expense of the unbelievable pacing FR had. Also, the car chases/stunts, while very good, aren't at the level of FR.
Probably would have been better just doing a Mad Max sequel.

Given Miller's age and these ugly BO numbers, probably last Mad Max film fora long time. Maybe a straight-up sequel was a better idea.
