saw that on the list, haven't seen the movie but the title reminded me I had wanted to see it a long time ago, and was under the impression that it's really good. Your confirmation means I should definitely watch it soon.
 
Yeah, it’s by Michel Gondry, same director as Eternal Sunshine….leans heavily into surrealism & wild visuals etc.

Doesn’t live up to that high bar by any stretch, but has some ‘Being John Malchovich’ type vibes to it….him and Spike Jonze clearly influence one another a fair bit.
 
I hate to admit that when I turned it on a few weeks ago and watched the first chunk of it, I thought “LoF is gonna love this”

Assuming the movie holds up to the quality of those first few scenes, it does seem like a pretty fun flick that’s tailor made for Cavill….this type of character is his wheelhouse.
