Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Lost in all this is how great the Broncos D has been playing. Tebow's 80 yard passing and a few big runs will not be able to be beat a half decent offense.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

He would still win the game 7-6 by scoring a touchdown in the last minute.

I doubt he gets to the 4th quarter - he can't get away with the college sh*t against teams like that. He's Batman by the middle of the 2nd quarter.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

It's only a matter of time. A QB who puts his head down and challenges defences like that is asking for it. He'll ask one too many times... guys like Ray Lewis will bring him much closer to meeting Geebus.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Ray Lewis is getting long in the tooth. I understand what you mean and don't disagree but he has played tough defences like Jets so far and done fine.

Has he played the Patriots yet because it will be interesting to see what he does against them given Jesus is on his side and Belichick is the Devil incarnate.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

They played the Jets, Sanchez sucks as a QB, he's even worse than Romo. When the Broncos play a team with a half decent QB and offense they will lose.

I am a jets fan and find this quote very very offensive....

To Romo that is.

Today with romo, the jets would be leading the division by 2 games. Sanchez is beyond horrible!!!

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Romo is only the fourth highest rated passer in the NFL this season despite playing most of the season with a broken rib.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Just kidding guys, after all, Romo is a Wisconsin boy ;)

But man, if Sanchez didn't play in NY he'd be replaced by now.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

You have to admit that Tebow makes Denver interesting to watch. Tebow really seems to be a running back playing QB, if he ever get his passing skills to equal his running skill, he could be an elite QB. Right now, every pass he throws is an adventure. Denver can be fine going forward if the defense plays as well as they have and continues to keep the games close. Detroit has proven that if you score a lot early on Denver, you can force Tebow into mistakes as he tries to throw Denver back in the game. Denver had a good running game and a strong defense, which are key to good playoff run, it comes down to Tebow minimizing mistakes/turnovers on offense and developing a more consistent throwing game. They are certainly more interesting to watch Colts, who wish that had Denver's running game and defense. The Colts are the example of a team who depends too much on their QB for success. They built a defense to play with a lead, not to shut other teams down, which has comeback and bit them on the ass since their passing offense has gone south and they have no run game to compensate.

I agree....and it's the same story line as Alex Smith in San Francisco....Alex doesn't throw for a lot of yards, and he relies on the running game a lot (Frank Gore) and a top rated defense, so all Alex Smith learned to do this year is not put his team in trouble with interceptions or bad throws....he's keeping it simple...and if Tebow can do that, it'll buy him some precious time so he can slowly build up his throwing game to be average to above average

If Vick was able to improve his throwing game through the years when he was with Falcons, i'm sure Tebow could do it also

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

At the Bills Fins game, Thinking Of leaving this shit show. The real Bills are back. ****patrick sucks ass.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

I'm pissed too, took the Bills as part of my Pro-Picks provincial lottery pool..what a waste....

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Sure, now it's raining.

Levitre can't snap a ball to save his life. You'd think the asshat Bills would have a backup center.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

I ****ing hate this team. Hate the fact I'm here with a buddy that's a drunk Dolfag. Yeah read this while I am typing douchebag.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

I'm a Dolphins fan....have been since I can remember...hate how they ****ed up the chance to draft Luck this year....

Kinda like the Habs....these last few Dolphins wins will only mask the problems...

Last time we were in Miami, the Dolphins were losing badly so the wife dragged me out after halftime and we went to Bal Harbour for some serious shopping....needless to say it was a double knockout for me that day :(

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

****ing hate taking the time out to go see a game live and have to watch a shit show like that. Chan Gailey is a dolt. Levitre is not a center, kept missnapping all game and he keeps him in there. Then when he takes him out he takes out ****patrick too. How do these morons have coaching jobs?
