OT: NFL thread

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

ya know, beating these pesky Dolphins would go a long way towards securing this dreamy playoff game

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

I guess they're right about Ted Ginn Jr....he's afraid to get his after a pass.... inexcusable how he dropped that ball at the end...

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Dear Cowboys,

Get the GB Packers film from tonight's game on how to run a two minute - hell, even a one minute - offense.

God damn.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

You do realize we won the last two games late and Romo ran it well, got them in FG range, hell Bailey even made the kick but not sure why the Ivy League Head Coach called a timeout to ice his own kicker

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

The Cowboys just aren't in the same league as the Packers although this loss is clearly on the coach who confused everyone with that TO including his own kicker. I'm also not fond of the 'Boys secondary who seem to give up big plays often.

Now it will clearly come down to the 2 Giants games which I assume they will split... they'd better.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

The Lions are a mess.....

No disciple whatsoever....a gang of tugs (today one of their players pushed the ref and got a 15 yard penalty)....LOL

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Jim Schwartz (and GM Martin Mayhew) have the Lions pointed in the right direction, but yes, discipline is an issue. Even some of the radio talking heads in Detroit are calling Schwartz immature.
They're making strides but they'd probably be doing even better if they'd knock off the penalties and stupid crap.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

the place has really cleared out of Tebow bashers, wha' happened?

he he.....you'll be back I know.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Tebow will hopefully start trusting his arm more and more.....he did throw for over 200 yards Sunday.....granted he threw less than 20 times I believe....

He's getting there, and he's obviously been protected by a favorable schedule....imagine when he'll face teams like Packs, Pats, Steelers, Ravens, 49ers, etc

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Suddenly we're measuring him and Denver against the top teams. My how expectations change quickly.

I don't think anyone is projecting power house status on to the Bronco's, let's not forget they were a lower echelon team coming into the season. Just challenging for the division title at this stage in the season, is a pleasant surprise.....especially with Tebow leading the way.

No one counted on that.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Tebow comes up lucky again...Barber gave them the win...no reason to go out of bounds when you need to kill the clock...and he fumbles the ball in OT.

Next week is Tebow's first real test...Patriots

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

When the Bills were 5-2 I said to a few people here that I am just waiting for their 8 game losing streak. Almost there. That franchise cannot suffer injuries because they have zero depth. Sounds familiar.

Maybe I'll cheer on the Packers. I like Rodgers.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

Just amazing how so many NFL games go down to the very last play.

Re: OT: NFL thread 2011

It's not his fault the kick was blocked....his defense screwed up...the kicker did what he had to do....the defense should've stopped Pierre-Paul
