I get he can't get his head around the fact he was a participant in the system to deflate balls but damn, take your punishment like a man.

It is akin to me disputing a speeding ticket, losing, appealing, winning, then losing then saying well I am going to appeal again.
 
The thing is Brady is a competitive freak. He doesn't back down. He's like Kobe. I imagine Brady will need his jersey pulled away before he gives up the game.

He is just so arrogant, he cannot admit he did anything wrong. Hell, even destroying the evidence on his phone is justified in his mind. He would have been one of the guys in the box at Nuremberg (where by chance I am going in July) who said he did nothing wrong as others hate the jews too.

I would hate to see his legal bills for this. I know he will lose a ton of salary for those four weeks but damn, is it worth 1 million in legal fees and the public ridicule, who knows maybe it is
 
Hell, I want him to take the 4 games. Rest up, reduce the wear and tear. Let Garoppolo get his 4 games, build up his experience. They'll probably wrap up the division in late-November anyway.

But this is a battle of egos.

If I recall correctly, they might be able to win those four games without a QB at all.

Here is an interesting stat and shows how some QBs are protected by the officials more than others (RTP is roughing the passer).

Pass Attempts per 2nd-half RTP Call, since 2006
Rodgers every 192 att
Brady every 224 att
Brees every 242 att
Roethlsbrgr every 391 att
PManning every 609 att
Romo every 2,209 att

You are as predictable as day and night (and cue the so is Romo throwing a 4th Q INT when it counts response).

I note how you didn't even try to consider the staggering difference between the golden children who get flags thrown when an opponent sneezes and Romo. How can even you justify that he needs 10x the drop backs to get a flag thrown compared to your golden boy Brady?

lots of possible explanations for this, including Romo getting rid of ball quickly and a great OL (at least recently)

again, that could explain if it were at PManning levels, but 10x the attempts?

I know my eye used to tell me he didn't get the same protection as others. I have seen him murdered out there without a call, tackled low, late, helmet to helmet, slapped in head without a call. This confirmed what I had seen. I got it from a guy with even more strange numbers that shows he does not get the benefit of calls others get.

It is also a fair sample size so it cannot be said that it was a one year anomaly.
